Established in 1941 ‘to advance the scientific study of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health’, the Society has grown to be the largest academic society for nutrition in Europe.

Brand Handbook

The Challenge:

Our initial brief was to redesign the Society’s website. Through some initial research and interviews it became apparent to us that there was a bigger challenge, with an opportunity to match.


A lack of brand consistency and hierarchy was not in step with the Society’s position as industry leader, and could diminish membership uptake.

Building Confidence:

By re-organising the Nutrition Society’s message hierarchy, Earth helped the organisation to communicate more clearly and confidently, increasing revenue streams via student membership, merchandise and publications.
